This mid-weight “OSS” Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) –  Ouroboros Sports hoodie is made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester anti-pill fleece and for sure is the piece of clothing you need. It also features a kangaroo pocket, sleeve cuff ribbing, and is preshrunk to minimize shrinkage. The word “OSS” was derived from the Japanese term ‘Onegai Shimasu’ which is a polite invitation like “Please, if you will”, or ‘Oshi Shinobu’ and roughly means “persevering when pushed” or “enduring under pressure”; values that are very much in line with the tradition of the most martial arts. OSS is now a term commonly used in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to show respect and commitment, acknowledge a successful submission or takedown, or as a greeting or farewell. It’s often used at the beginning and end of a training session or fight.
